More behind-the-scenes details are gradually emerging about The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas and produced by People Media Factory. According to industry insiders, the film’s production reportedly witnessed significant financial wastage, largely due to frequent creative changes.

One such instance involves the comedian’s role in the film. Initially, the makers had planned to rope in popular Tamil comedian Yogi Babu, who is said to have even given his consent. However, director Maruthi later revised the casting decision and brought in Prabhas Sreenu instead. After completing a portion of the shoot, Prabhas reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with the performance and suggested replacing the comedian. This led the team to reshoot the same scenes with another actor.

Soon after, Prabhas is said to have had a change of heart, reportedly expressing concern that Prabhas Sreenu and his family were hurt by the decision. He allegedly asked the director to retain the original actor, resulting in yet another round of reshoots. This back-and-forth process reportedly added a considerable financial burden to the production.

In addition to this, sources claim that the film’s leading actresses were subjected to multiple high-end photo shoots with renowned Mumbai photographers. Each shoot reportedly cost several lakhs, further escalating the budget.

These incidents are being cited in industry circles as examples of how repeated changes and indecision during production led to avoidable expenditure, contributing to the perception that The Raja Saab suffered from substantial money wastage during its making.
