Dil Raju is one of the top producers in Tollywood and he is looking to expand his brand to other languages too. He is producing ‘Jersey’ remake in Hindi and he is now all set to make a mark in Kollywood too. Going by the current trend of making films with a larger appeal, he is planning films with top stars of Tamil with Telugu directors.

Thalapathy Vijay who is on a roll with back-to-back hits is ready to make his Telugu debut in the direction of Vamsi Paidipally. Apparently, this film is going to be made in Telugu as well as Tamil and it will be released in other languages too. Dil Raju is bankrolling this project as per reports.

On the other side, a lot of filmmakers are trying to make a straight Telugu with star hero Suriya. Considering Suriya’s craze and stardom in both Telugu states and Tamil Nadu, everyone is waiting for one such huge project. The talk in tinsel town is that Dil Raju is making moves to make a pan-South Indian film with Suriya. If things go as planned, mass director Boyapati Sreenu will be handling the megaphone for this project.

Boyapati is working on ‘Akhanda’ right now and he penned a few powerful projects during the lockdown and one of them is expected to be with Suriya. It will be a treat to Suriya’s fans and people are eagerly waiting for it. Seems like Dil Raju is aiming big by bringing together Telugu and Tamil industries and making universally appealing projects. If this works out, Dil Raju will be becoming a huge brand in South India.

Yash Turns Co-Producer for Toxic and Ramayana

What’s grabbing even more attention now is not just his acting lineup, but his growing involvement behind the scenes. Yash is set to appear in two major films—Toxic, directed by Geethu Mohandas, and Ramayana, helmed by Nitesh Tiwari. In Ramayana, he will be seen portraying the powerful antagonist, Ravana.

Interestingly, Yash has also been credited as a co-producer for both Toxic and Ramayana. This move has sparked discussions in the industry, with many speculating that the actor might be opting for profit-sharing deals instead of a fixed remuneration.

After the phenomenal success of the KGF franchise, which reportedly generated over ₹2500 crore through theatrical and OTT revenues, Yash’s market value has soared significantly. Compared to other stars associated with Ramayana, including Ranbir Kapoor and Sunny Deol, Yash is widely seen as one of the biggest crowd-pullers today.

Given this stature, his decision to take on a co-producer role appears strategic. By securing a share in the film’s profits and rights, Yash seems to be positioning himself not just as a leading star, but also as a key stakeholder in big-ticket projects.
