Tollywood’s ace producer Dil Raju is all set to expand his horizons into Bollywood in a grand way. Known for bankrolling some of South India’s biggest hits and their Hindi remakes, the star producer has reportedly locked a massive project with none other than Salman Khan.
As per inside reports, Dil Raju is venturing into large-scale Hindi production, and this upcoming film will feature Salman Khan in the lead role under the direction of Vamshi Paidipally, who earlier helmed Varisu starring Vijay. Interestingly, Vamshi was also in discussions with Aamir Khan for a project earlier, but now this collaboration with Salman seems to be taking shape.
The financial model of this project is grabbing attention too. Instead of his usual hefty remuneration, Salman Khan has reportedly agreed to a profit-sharing deal — accepting only a minimal upfront fee along with a significant percentage of the film’s profits. This clearly reflects the superstar’s belief in the film’s potential. Sources say an advance has already been paid to Salman, and shooting is expected to commence next year.
Apart from this, Dil Raju is also planning another Hindi remake titled Sankranthiki Vastunnam. With these ventures, Dil Raju is stepping into Bollywood with big ambitions, marking a strong collaboration between Telugu cinema and the Hindi film industry — one that could redefine South-North partnerships in Indian cinema.
