Veteran actor Dilip Kumar was rushed to the Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai after he complained of breathlessness today morning. His wife Saira Banu confirmed his health condition and stated “He was unwell, and had some breathing problems so he has been admitted to a non-Covid hospital in Khar today. A blood test and other checkups will be done today to determine why this has happened.”
It is known that required medical care and management is being taken by Doctors and his disease is being monitored closely. In May, the 98 year old actor was discharged from the hospital after all the tests were conducted.
A tweet on his official handle was posted which read, “Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations. He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe.”
Recent news surfaced that Dilip Kumar has not been coming in contact with anyone as a precautionary measure ever since the Covid-19 pandemic. Saira Banu who isolated herself too, had earlier said that his immunity had depreciated and hence he avoided meeting outsiders.
