Veteran filmmaker N. Shankar, known for delivering blockbuster hits like Sriramulayya, Encounter, Jayam Manadera, Bhadrachalam, and Jai Bolo Telangana, has been a prominent name in Telugu cinema for decades. Now, his son, Dinneshmahindra, is all set to carry forward his father’s legacy by stepping into the director’s chair.
Dinneshmahindra has undergone professional training in filmmaking at a reputed institute, earned a BBA degree, and completed specialized courses in screenplay writing. With a solid foundation in cinema, he is gearing up for his directorial debut, which promises to be a refreshing love story featuring fresh faces and a team of emerging technicians.
The project, backed by Aurex Creations, is scheduled to commence shooting in April, with song recordings already underway. Currently, the team is focused on finalizing the cast and technical crew before heading to the sets.
It is rare to see the next generation of star filmmakers successfully match the impact of their predecessors. However, with his structured training and creative vision, Dinneshmahindra seems well-prepared to carve his own path. It will be exciting to see what he brings to the table with his debut film.
