For a while, speculation swirled about creative differences between Vijay Sethupathi and director Prem Kumar, allegedly stalling the project. However, Prem recently clarified that these rumors are baseless.
In an interview, he revealed:
“The script for #96Part2 is complete, and it is my best work yet. My friends who read it told me it’s even better than the first film. When producer Ishari Ganesh sir heard the script, he was so impressed that he gifted me a gold chain worth several lakhs. I’ll make this film only with the same cast—or not at all.”
With this strong statement, Prem has reignited excitement among fans eager to see the magic of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha once again on screen.
