Director Sanjay soon to resume final shoot of Mumbai Saga

Since the lockdown, film makers in India were left paralysed as all the works and shoots were ground to halt like never before. Nevertheless, owing to the recent permits, the shoots have gradually progressed with out further ado.

Earlier, film maker Sanjay Gupta had revealed about the shoot of his much hyped film ‘Mumbai Saga’ saying that they are scheduling the left over shoot in the Ramoji Filmcity, Hyderabad with John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi.

“The country recorded 30,000 cases in a single day. Moreover, the World Health Organisation’s [WHO] announcement about the possibility of the virus being airborne was alarming. It stated that the virus can remain in the air in crowded closed spaces. Of the 14-day shoot that I had planned, we were to film at three indoor sets for 10 day, which could pose risk”, Sanjay Gupta said.

The director stated the team earlier planned to shoot in Hyderabad, but now pandemic situation has aggravated and is as dangerous as Mumbai. He further added that he well not travel far places and schedule the final leg of shoot in Mumbai.

Presently, the director plans to reconsider the shoot schedule with fresh dates and is likely to resume the filming from August 15th after getting permits. Director Sanjay said he and the film’s coproducer are planning to book Mehboob and Essel studios to complete the pending part.
