Social media influencer Divvela Madhuri, who last year made headlines by openly acknowledging her relationship with suspended YSR Congress Party MLC Duvvada Srinivas from Tekkali, Srikakulam district, continues to stay in the news.
Recently, strong rumours suggested that Madhuri had been approached by the organizers of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9, hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni. Even before the show launched, her name was widely speculated as a contestant, and talks of her entering as a wildcard continued to circulate after the season began.
In a latest interview, Madhuri clarified the matter herself. She admitted that she was indeed offered a spot on Bigg Boss but turned it down for deeply personal reasons.
“I cannot live without my Raja (Duvvada Srinivas). That’s why I declined the Bigg Boss opportunity,” she said emotionally.
Madhuri explained that she spends her entire day with her husband—from cooking and caring for him at home to accompanying him on political tours nearly ten days a month. Both share a love for travelling, often going on trips together, which makes it impossible for her to stay away from him for an extended period.
It may be recalled that Srinivas distanced himself from his first wife and children before beginning a public relationship with Madhuri, with whom he frequently makes reels and videos that go viral online. Some of Madhuri’s earlier dance clips also gained massive traction on social media, making her a familiar name and leading to the Bigg Boss offer.
Her candid revelation—that she rejected a major television opportunity solely because she could not bear to stay away from her husband—has surprised many and sparked fresh discussions online.
