The Telugu Desam Party, which is happy with the recent ‘Mahanadu’ grand success in Prakasam district Ongole, has faced an unexpected setback. TDP leader and former actress Divyavani, a spokesperson, announced her resignation from the party.
Divyavani, who is known as the firebrand leader in the TDP, on Tuesday revealed that she is resigning from the party. This comes a day after she spoke about the insults she faced in the party.
In a recent interview, she mentioned that she is not happy with the internal politics within the party. Announcing her resignation on Twitter, Divyavani said that she is quitting the party against the involvement of some negative forces in it.
However, after her resignation from the TDP, there is a campaign that she will join the ruling YSR Congress party.
