Don’t Make people’s privacy Entertainment Commodity: Kohli!

Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli is having a good World Cup so far. He scored back-to-back half-centuries when the team needed and his heroics in the match against Pakistan will go down as one of the best innings in his career as per the experts. He has now become the second-highest run-scorer in T20 World Cups.

However, Kohli had an unpleasant experience in Australia as a video that gives a sneak peek into his hotel room made it to social media. The video went into his notice and he did not like it obviously. Run Machine Kohli said the video is an invasion of privacy.

A user shared the video of Virat Kohli’s hotel room. The video showed the room including the furniture and other things. It is believed that when Kohli was not in the room someone might have recorded the video. The user captioned the video and captioned it King Kohli’s Hotel Room.

Sharing the video, Virat Kohli expressed his concerns about his piracy and asked if he cannot have a personal space. Calling the video an invasion of privacy, Virat Kohli requested everyone to respect one’s privacy. King Kohli said he understands the excitement of fans but they need to understand the privacy of people.

“But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment,” Virat Kohli said on Instagram.

Sportsmen are seen as demi-gods in India and people show excitement to know details about the stars. But sometimes people go over the line and invade their privacy. What Virat Kohli faced is one such example. Despite Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma requesting everyone to not take pictures of their daughter, fans try to click the pictures.

Fans love Virat Kohli and they support him in every tough time. But there needs to be a line and the private space of the sportsmen should be respected. Fans need to understand. When Virat Kohli says he is worried about his privacy we can understand the situation.

After actress Hansika Motwani and her husband Sohael Khaturiya officially ended their marriage through mutual consent, discussions about her personal life have resurfaced across social media.

The couple, who tied the knot in a grand ceremony a few years ago, had created significant buzz at the time. Their wedding celebrations were not only widely covered but were also filmed and sold to the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar.

The wedding festivities were later released as a special show titled Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama, which showcased the actress’s lavish wedding celebrations and received considerable attention online.

However, with the couple now separating within three years of marriage, the development has sparked fresh debate on social media. Many netizens are questioning the growing trend of turning celebrity weddings into OTT content.

Some users are also raising doubts about OTT platforms investing in such projects, arguing that these shows tend to lose relevance if the couples part ways shortly after showcasing their grand celebrations.

Hansika is not the only celebrity facing such reactions. In recent years, several star weddings have been turned into social media spectacles, only for the couples to separate a few years later.

With Hansika’s divorce now confirmed, the debate around filming celebrity weddings for OTT platforms and creating massive promotional hype around them has once again become a trending topic online.
