With an intention to repair the bad roads across the state, the Janasena party had announced its flagship program ‘Sramadanam’. This is Janasena’s new program for better roads in the state. Earlier, the Janasena party had highlighted the road condition through social media by posting pictures and videos of roads.
Pawan Kalyan reached Hukumpeta on Saturday to address the meeting. When he was giving a fierce speech, fans gathered for the speech raised ‘CM’ ‘CM’ slogans making Pawan uncomfortable. At one point Pawan Kalyan lost cool on his fans during his speech.
Janasena chief asked the fans and crowd to not raise such slogans. He urged the fans to not make slogans. Call me Janasenani I will accept. But don’t call me CM. Keep one thing to your mind. Instead of shouting CM, make me CM. You can call me CM after I become CM. Till then address me Janasenai. Don’t even call me Power Star, Pawan Kalyan said.
Fans raising ‘CM’ ‘CM’ during Pawan Kalyan’s speech is not a new thing. Earlier too, Pawan Kalyan asked the fans to not use such slogans. After the 2019 defeat, he said he had lost the elections due to his fans. His controversial comments had created a political storm in the state with his opponents targeting him with the same comments.
At the speech, Pawan Kalyan found fault with the Andhra Pradesh government for creating obstacles for the Sramadanam program. Pawan Kalyan said, the right to protest was granted to the citizens of India and no one can violate the right granted by the Indian Constitution.
