After years of anticipation, Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is finally making his acting debut as a lead hero in the prestigious film Yellamma, directed by Venu Yeldandi of Balagam fame. The film is presented by Dil Raju and produced by Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Marking the occasion of Makara Sankranti, the makers unveiled a power-packed concept glimpse that instantly grabbed attention. The visual opens with a neem leaf spiralling into the sky, transforming into the fierce form of the Goddess amid thunderous rain. From the heart of the storm emerges a shirtless DSP, a drum slung across his back, accompanied by a fluttering goat, before he is introduced as Parshi. The sequence is steeped in raw cultural mysticism and spiritual intensity.

The striking use of neem, haldi, and kumkum textures enhances the film’s rooted authenticity, while DSP’s rugged screen presence and electrifying percussion elevate the impact of the glimpse. The announcement has significantly raised expectations around the project.

The makers have confirmed that Yellamma will release in all South Indian languages along with Hindi, underscoring its pan-Indian ambition. Details regarding the rest of the cast and technical crew will be revealed soon.
