Malayalam films might not be made on high budgets but they are very rich in terms of content. The storylines they choose are very interesting and deal with the psychologies of people, their behavior and others which lead to a lot of drama. Also, their heroes attempt different genres and don’t care about images.
Legendary hero Mohanlal is coming up with one interesting film after another. He teamed up with director Jeethu Joseph and made ‘Drishyam 1’ and ‘Drishyam 2′ which were super hits. The amount of appreciation they got was immense and both parts were remade in many languages. They did a movie titled ’12th Man’ too which was released on Disney + Hotstar. They are currently making ‘Ram: Part 1’ and it is an action thriller.
Interestingly, they have announced another film in their combination. It is not a part of ‘Drishyam’ or ‘Ram’ franchise. It will be a completely new story that will be produced under Aashirvad Cinemas’ banner. Sources say that most of the filming will be done in Trivandrum and Cochin areas. The official update will be arriving soon while the shooting will begin in August.
Apart from these, Mohanlal is working on a movie titled ‘Vrushabha’ which is an interesting film and Srikanth’s son Roshan will be playing a key part in this movie.
