In a shocking incident, Tollywood actor Ram Pothineni experienced a serious security breach while shooting for his upcoming film Andhra King in Rajahmundry. Despite being a prominent star who typically travels with tight security and prefers high-end hotels, this incident has sparked concerns over lax protocols.
Ram was staying in a VIP suite on the 6th floor of the Sheraton Hotel when the incident occurred around 10 PM. Two unidentified men, reportedly intoxicated, managed to bypass hotel security by falsely claiming to be part of the actor’s team. They accessed the elevator and reached his floor without verification.
Shockingly, they convinced the housekeeping staff to hand over a master key, using it to enter Ram’s suite. At the time, Ram was asleep in the inner bedroom with the door locked. He was awakened by loud noises and, sensing danger, quickly alerted his team.
The hotel’s security team responded promptly and informed the local police, who arrived at the scene and took the intruders into custody. A formal complaint was registered, and an investigation is underway.
Thankfully, Ram Pothineni was unharmed, but the incident has raised serious questions about the hotel’s security protocols and the conduct of its staff. Given the stature of celebrities and the risk involved, this breach has drawn attention to the need for tighter security measures at even reputed hotels.
As of now, neither Ram nor his team has issued an official statement, but fans are relieved that the actor is safe.
