Some songs are composed, some just happen — and that’s exactly how Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) created the cult hit “Aaradugula Bullet.” The star composer appeared on Jagapathi Babu’s talk show Jayammu Nischayammu, which has been trending for its candid celebrity conversations. After guests like Nagarjuna and Shobu Yarlagadda, it was DSP’s turn to steal the show with his energy, wit, and fun behind-the-scenes stories.
The episode started with Jagapathi Babu appreciating DSP’s powerful background score in Legend, where he played the villain opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna. DSP responded that he matched the music to Jagapathi’s fierce screen presence. He later recalled a hilarious moment from Attarintiki Daredi, revealing that the song “Ninnu Chudagaane” was born spontaneously when he saw a few girls walking on the road and thought, “after seeing you, my heart started beating fast.”
The highlight, though, was his story about Aaradugula Bullet. “Pawan Kalyan asked me to show the tune,” DSP said. “There was a camera stand nearby, I picked it up, acted like I was shooting, and suddenly the rhythm struck — the tune just happened!” The rest of the episode airs this Sunday on Zee TV, and if this sneak peek is any indication, it promises laughter, nostalgia, and DSP’s signature chaos.
