Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is one of the top music composers down South. He has been in the film industry for nearly two decades and is still in the top league. He has a huge fanbase and despite the decline in his music quality recently according to a few, he is still churning out chartbusters. His last big film ‘Pushpa’ has shaken the entire nation and the songs became popular all over the country. They grabbed hundreds of million views in all languages.
Every music composer has a separate working style which may or may not jell with the directors. DSP has a strong rapport with a couple of directors and he gives super hit music to them every time. Being on the same wavelength is necessary for the director and music composer to come up with the perfect output. Recently, the energetic composer had differences with a Bollywood filmmaker and reportedly walked out of Salman Khan’s project ‘Bhaijaan’.
Salman Khan is an admirer of DSP’s work since a long time. He reused Devi’s popular ‘Ringa Ringa’ as ‘Dhinka Chika’ for his ‘Ready’ and it turned out to be a huge hit. The same goes for ‘Seetimaar’ song which he used in his last outing ‘Radhe’. The Bollywood star apparently asked DSP to be the music composer of his next film ‘Bhaijaan’ which is being directed by Farhad Samji.
News is that the director and Devi did not sync properly and the ‘Arya’ composer decided to respectfully walk away from the project. Farhad has reportedly brought in a string of composers for this album and this is reportedly the reason why DSP is not interested in working on the film. News is that Salman promised another project to Devi Sri Prasad. Let us wait and see what happens in the coming days.
