Finally three days after twists and turns and trial by Dubai prosecution, investigation by its local police officials, the office of the Dubai public prosecutor has announced that “Sridevi’s case is closed”. It added that the public prosecution has decided to hand over the mortal remains of Sridevi to its relatives and the concerned clearance letters have already been handed over to the bereaved family, Indian consulate.
However, the prosecution which had raised its doubts over Sridevi’s accidental drowning haven’t made any official clarification so far.
Sridevi’s mortal remains are expected to be sent to India in a special flight tonight. Stepson Arjun Kapoor is accompanying father Boney Kapoor to help him in repatriate Sridevi’s body. The entire Bollywood, top wigs of Tollywood, Kollywood, other industries, political fraternity are expected to pay final tribute to the iconic actress.
