The first single from the highly anticipated film Dude, starring actor-filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan, has officially dropped. Titled “Boom Boom,” the track is an energetic, vibrant dance number composed and sung by Sai Abhyankkar, with catchy lyrics penned by Patru Das. Fans are already raving about the lively beats and colorful visuals.
The music video showcases iconic city locations, including beaches, Mount Road, and Omandurar Hospital, creating a festive and fun atmosphere. Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju are seen grooving to the peppy beats alongside a troupe of dancers, making it a visual treat.
Dude, directed by debutant Keerthiswaran, marks Pradeep’s fourth film as a lead actor. He is known for his blockbuster directorial and acting debut in Love Today, followed by acting in Dragon and the upcoming Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), releasing in October. The film also stars Sarathkumar, Hridhu Haroon, Rohini, and Dravid Selvam in pivotal roles and is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It will release in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, making it Mythri’s second Tamil venture after Ajith Kumar’s hit Good Bad Ugly.
Keerthiswaran, previously an assistant director under Sudha Kongara on Soorarai Pottru and anthology films like Paava Kadhaigal and Putham Pudhu Kaalai, makes his directorial debut with Dude. The film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Niketh Bommi and editor Barath Vikraman. Scheduled for a Diwali release, Dude is set to clash at the box office with Mari Selvaraj’s Bison and Pradeep’s own Love Insurance Kompany, promising an exciting festive season for Tamil cinema.
