Tamil hero Simbu is pinning high hopes on his latest outing Maanaadu, which is releasing in theatres today, 25th November. The film is dubbed and released in Telugu as The Loop and it is releasing simultaneously with the Tamil version.
Interestingly enough, the early morning shows of Maanaadu, which were planned at Tamil Nadu have been cancelled without prior notice.
Simbu’s fans who had gathered at the theatres at 5 AM today were left in a state of shock and disappointment after the early morning shows got cancelled. The theatre management cited the KDM issues as the reason behind the cancellation of the shows.
Maanaadu has been in trouble right from the early stages of the shoot. Simbu had a tussle with the producer and quit the project. But for legal reasons, he had to come back and complete the film, which he did later last year.
Udhayanidhi Stalin, the son of the chief minister of Tamil Nadu is said to have helped Maanaadu get a theatrical release. But the film is now facing issues even after its release.
