Ram Charan Unveils Roshan’s ‘Champion’ Trailer

Mega Power Star Ram Charan unveiled the theatrical trailer of Roshan’s upcoming film Champion, directed by Pradeep Advaitham and jointly produced by Swapna Cinema, Anandi Art Creations, Concept Films, and Zee Studios. The launch event turned into a star-studded affair, drawing attention from across the industry.
Filmmaker Nag Ashwin shared his admiration for the film after watching its visuals. He stated that the art direction and cinematography instantly transported him into the film’s period setting. “People are already comparing Roshan to Hrithik, and after watching the film, I’ve become a fan of Anaswara Rajan,” he remarked, praising the overall technical finesse of the project.
Expressing his gratitude, Roshan credited director Pradeep Advaitham for shaping him as an actor. He revealed that he learned immensely during the making of the film and saluted the director’s dedication, noting that nearly four years were spent crafting Champion. Roshan also highlighted the importance of producer commitment, stating that a producer’s focus is just as vital as the story itself. He thanked Vyjayanthi Movies for dedicating the last two to three years solely to this project.
Sharing a personal note, Roshan spoke fondly about Ram Charan, calling him the most significant person he met through his father. Summing up the film, Roshan said, “If I have to describe Champion in one line, this is Michael’s story. Every village has its own history, and this film narrates the tale of the brave heroes of a Telugu village called Bairanpally.”
Ram Charan, in his address, thanked legendary producer Aswini Dutt for introducing several leading stars including Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, NTR, and now Roshan under his banner. He expressed pride in witnessing Roshan’s growth, noting that he has known him since childhood. “He looks like a Hollywood action hero. Just as Magadheera became a massive hit for me, I hope Champion becomes an equally big success for you,” Charan said.
The star also praised Roshan’s dedication, mentioning that he spent nearly three and a half years preparing for the role. He applauded producers Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt for carrying forward their father’s legacy with passion, adding that their collaboration with Nag Ashwin has already delivered a pan-India blockbuster. Ram Charan further expressed his desire to work with them again in the future.
Ram Charan concluded by appreciating Roshan’s mature performance, confidently predicting Champion to be a sure-shot success. He also lauded Anaswara Rajan, stating that she is bound to receive offers from major production houses after the film, and revealed that she learned Telugu and dubbed in her own voice for the film.
Adding emotional value to the event, Roshan’s father and popular actor Srikanth also graced the occasion.
