Even as VHP, Bajrang Dal are organising Ghar Vapasi on a large scale, Asaduddin Owaisi, MIM MP who vehemently opposed the program, now created huge controversy by promoting the same in another version.
Speaking at a public meeting on Milad Un Nabio, muslim festival, Owaisi said “Every child is born a Muslim. His parents and society convert him to other religions,”. He said these people should follow Ghar Wapasi and return to Islam.
With Congress and other political parties started blasting him for increasing communal tensions, Owaisi tried to go back on his words saying he never promoted Ghar Vapasi. He however added Quran says the same and others are free not to accept his interpretation. He said he is not offering any money to promote Ghar Vapasi.
