Ex-IPS JD Lakshmi Narayana Special Face to Face Over His Political Theories

N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and director Prashanth Neel’s much-anticipated film Dragon is currently on a short break from shooting.

The team had planned a major schedule this month, but the shoot was temporarily halted. Reportedly, the film features multiple looks for the lead actor, and the upcoming schedule was designed to capture a fresh new appearance on screen. However, both NTR and Prashanth Neel were not fully satisfied with the current look, leading them to pause the schedule and reassess.

Sources suggest that both are aligned creatively and are committed to delivering the best possible output, even if it results in delays.

Earlier, the team had completed a significant schedule in Jordan, followed by a brief one-week shoot near a temple in Shamshabad last month. Meanwhile, a massive set is currently under construction on the outskirts, where the next phase of shooting is expected to begin next month.

Initially, the film was slated for a June 25, 2026 release. However, with the current delay, the release window is likely to shift, potentially opening the door for other big releases such as Peddi.
