Fahadh Faasil is no longer just a Malayalam star; he enjoys a strong following among Telugu audiences as well. Known for choosing his films with great care, Fahadh consistently delivers standout performances, making him a sought-after name for Telugu filmmakers.

After his impactful role in Pushpa, Fahadh is now expected to be part of the upcoming Anil Ravipudi–Venkatesh combination film. In this project, Venkatesh and Fahadh are likely to play brothers. However, the makers are yet to meet Fahadh in person, as discussions so far have been limited to a phone conversation. Key aspects such as remuneration and dates are still to be finalized.

Meanwhile, Fahadh’s reported fee has become a major topic of discussion in Tollywood circles. Industry insiders suggest that he may not accept anything less than ₹15 crore. Given his performance-driven reputation, strong screen presence, and pan-India appeal, many believe this demand is justified.

Interestingly, several mid-range Telugu heroes continue to command fees of ₹10 crore or more despite delivering consecutive flops and weak box-office openings. In comparison, many in the industry feel that a ₹15 crore remuneration for Fahadh Faasil is reasonable.

Pre-production work for the film has already begun. Once the casting and other formalities are locked, director Anil Ravipudi is expected to complete the script work while spending time in Visakhapatnam, Araku, and his native places in Prakasam district. With sufficient time on hand, the makers are in no hurry and are calmly progressing toward finalizing the project.
