Varun Tej is rocking the retro look in Valmiki set in the eighties. He is playing the character named Gaddalakonda Ganesh, a ferocious villain with a colourful past.

Director Harish Shankar has adapted the core idea from Jigarthanda and is presenting it in his own style.
