Mega Prince Varun Tej stumbled up on the starting step of his career as his debut film, Mukunda went on to become a big flop. Many criticized Mega family for misguiding Varun Tej with an unconventional subject for the first film. However Varun Tej is not regretting doing a film like Mukunda. He still wants to take the experimental route only.
It is said that his next film with director Krish will be a love story set in Pre-Independence era. The film’s story deals the partition backdrop and will show case the emotional turmoil of Indians during the partition phase. Currently the preproduction of the film is going on at brisk pace.
The major challenge is to find locations suiting those times. Krish is currently working on his first Bollywood venture, Gabbar which is the remake of Chiranjeevi’s Tagore. Akshay Kumar is playing the lead role in the film.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is producing the film under ‘SLB Films’ banner. Sanjay earlier made ‘Rowdy Rathore’ with Akshay Kumar. Varun Tej’s film will start rolling after Gabbar release there. On the other side Varun Tej is working on the physique necessary for the character in the film.
It is also said that he is still taking the acting classes to better his performance in the second film.
