We were the first ones to reveal that Ram Pothineni will be collaborating with Lingusamy for his immediate next project after Red. Tentatively titled RAPO19, this project was officially announced a while back and the regular shooting is likely to commence next month.
Today, the makers of RAPO19 announced that Devi Sri Prasad is on-board to compose the music for the film.
Now, we have another exclusive and exciting update in regard to the project. Apparently, Devi Sri Prasad is charging big bucks for his contribution to RAPO19.
As said by a source, DSP is charging as much as Rs 3 crores remuneration for the Ram starrer.
DSP regained mojo with Uppena which is one of the biggest musical hits of the year. The film rejuvenated the ace music composer’s career and he is one of the sought after technicians again now.
Given DSP’s impressive works of late, the makers of RAPO19 decided to pay him big bucks. This makes him one of the top billed technicians in Tollywood.
The Lingusamy directorial stars Krithi Shetty in the female lead role. Srinivasa Chitturi is bankrolling the project.
