During this lock down period, you might be thinking it is okay to lie in bed and work but it is definitely not a good idea and puts pressure on your body parts. We have in actor Bhadram, a doctor who has specialized in ergonomics.

The doctor has worked as a trainer and had so far conducted 600 ergonomics workshops all over India and many software companies. He travels a lot and tells people safer and better ways to work on laptop.

He stresses that if one continues to ignore and carries on, he is sure to develop serious health problems after three years. He tells people to get a laptop stand and take a break every 20 minutes.”

But who is Bhadram? Bhadram played a role of a servant who works for Nassar in Mahanubhavudu. His character was that of an innocent and clean hearted man who is unkempt and untidy and keeps earning the wrath of the hero who suffers from an obsession for cleanliness.

He is wowing the audiences not just by his portrayal of versatile roles but also by his job and social service camps. Very few know that he is currently working as a pain consultant in a wellness centre. What made him come to the industry?

“After completing my studies in physiotherapy, I did a specialization in ergonomics. It means occupational health and safety. Most employees in software companies sit and work for long hours in front of the computers and develop neck pain and shoulder pain. I teach people and talk to them about correct sitting postures and treat them if they fall sick on account of these issues. I studied in Bangalore and the employees from the IT companies would suffer from many such problems. If they only knew the correct sitting position, they could have prevented it. After my training and specialization, I moved to Hyderabad and came up with a work and wellness related corporate health services.”
