Sharwanand reportedly said yes to the script but Sitara Entertainments backed out as the subject that they were to do was something similar to Ranarangam.
Even Gemini Kiran was ready to produce. The budget estimated 30 crore is a risky proposition on Sharwanand who is on a series of flops.
They want Sai Pallavi or Kirti Suresh as the lead so the padding will atleast elevate the script despite Sharwa’s plummeting market value.
Like we already know Samantha was also one of the choice and Naga Chaitanya too showed interest but post Venky Mama, the actor has been getting offers and all of them are multi starrers like a film to be directed by the director of Soggade Chinni Nayana.

Finally, Ajay Bhupati’s project is still in a limbo and doesn’t seem to go on tracks till the Corona issue settles down. Meanwhile Sharwa would be waiting to see the release of Sreekaram and his Telugu-Tamil film too.
Right now, his films don’t excite and the buzz surrounding him is also low. The scenario is like, directors are signing him because they have no other option or available hero.
