Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is back in headlines for wrong reasons. Much to the embarrassment of Congress, Rahul was caught with a ‘cheat sheet’. Rahul Gandhi’s notes for his speech were caught on camera by photojournalist Prem Singh, from The Telegraph. The cheat sheet had points for hitting at ruling BJP and all were written in Roman alphabets.
“Log PM Modi ko sunna chahte hai, woh unki rai janna chahte hai, Modigate par, Vyapam par (People want to hear Prime Minister Modi, they want to know his opinion, on Modigate, on Vyapam),” reads the one of the points in cheat sheet. The “3 monkeys of Gandhi ji” was also listed in his notes. Both points featured in his speech in the House later.
Rahul had lamented at Sushma in the house by stating, “Sushma Swaraj is a discreet humanitarian. She is the first humanitarian who helps quietly. Sushmaji held my hand in Parliament yesterday and asked me, ‘Beta maine galat kya kiya?” he said. Of course, Sushma too gave a befitting counter to Rahul by asking him to question his mother, “Mumma how much money did we get in the Quattrochi case?”
Finally, it’s revealed that Rahul depends on ‘cheat sheet’ for speeches. But what’s surprising many is that he banks on ‘cheat sheet’ even for rhetoric.
