Congress MLA from Pargi in Ranga Reddy district T Rammohan Reddy, who made a vain attempt to join the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, attacked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for ignoring the Opposition party MLAs. Rammohan Reddy, who owns a chain of educational institutions in Ranga Reddy district, earlier made a desperate attempt to join the TRS but was denied entry, thanks to intense opposition from his bitter rivals Kamatham Ram Reddy and also Koppula Harishwar Reddy, both strong TRS leaders from Parigi.
After failing in his attempts, Rammohan Reddy started attacking KCR. He alleged that the KCR government was biased and discriminating against non-TRS MLAs in the allocation of funds for developmental activities in the State.
The Pargi MLA on Friday pointed out that GO No. No. 36 issued by department of Panchayat Raj, revealed that his constituency was allocated meager Rs five crore for laying of roads, while other constituencies represented by the ruling party MLAs were given from Rs 20 crores to over Rs 50 crores. He advised the Chief Minister to shun step-motherly treatment towards the constituencies represented by non-TRS parties and allocate funds equally to all in order to achieve the goal of Bangaru Telangana.
