Family Feud: Jagan’s Rift with Inner Circle Deepens

Share

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to be increasingly isolated, as tensions grow with some of his closest confidants and family members — including Vijaya Sai Reddy, YS Sharmila, and even his own mother, YS Vijayamma.

In a surprising move, Jagan has taken a legal route by approaching the companies tribunal, demanding the return of gift deeds granted to Vijayamma in relation to Saraswati Power Company. While the mother-son duo may occasionally appear cordial in public, such gestures — like an embrace at events — seem more symbolic than reflective of a strong personal bond.

Amidst this backdrop, senior leader Vijaya Sai Reddy extended birthday greetings to Vijayamma on social media. His post read:
“Most respectful birthday greetings to Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma Garu — a beacon of grace, courage, and silent strength. Your life of sacrifice, dignity, and unwavering commitment to values continues to inspire countless hearts. May you be blessed with abundant health, peace, and divine grace always.”

The choice of words — “sacrifice, dignity, and values” — is now being seen by many as a subtle dig at Jagan, especially as Sai Reddy himself is reportedly unhappy with the YSRCP leadership for sidelining him and straining his access to the former Chief Minister.

These developments come at a time when Jagan appears poised for legal confrontations not just with his mother, but also with his sister Sharmila, over ongoing property disputes. Interestingly, both Vijayamma and Sai Reddy seem to have positioned themselves opposite Jagan — though their reasons and grievances may differ.
