Hari Hara Veera Mallu witnessed paid premiere shows across Hyderabad and several towns in Andhra Pradesh, drawing strong revenues from early screenings. However, the film’s overall performance later dipped due to negative word of mouth.
Now, all eyes are on OG, which is gearing up for release amidst massive hype and sky-high expectations. With the potential to set new records on its opening day, fans are eagerly demanding paid premiere shows on the night of September 24, followed by early morning screenings on September 25.
Interestingly, while the Telangana government had initially banned premiere shows earlier this year, it eventually relaxed its stand and permitted them for Hari Hara Veera Mallu. A similar decision is expected for OG. However, producer Danayya is yet to finalize whether paid premieres will indeed take place.
Meanwhile, the team is planning simultaneous screenings in India and North America, ensuring a grand global release. Still, they remain cautious, aware that a premature negative campaign could impact the film’s momentum.
