Film producer-director Tammareddy Bharadwaja asked to no pluck feathers from eggs rather watching a movie as a tool for entertainment. In response to the Facebook video posted by Annapurna Sunkara, he stated that people are not watching films to enjoy but only to dissect and pass negative comments.
‘In film like Baahubali, there are not just negative things, but there are positive things too. Why are these people not taking those positives? In a film, we have to consider positive aspects too. Rather tailing around those elements and calling every Telugu film as waste, worst and bad, why don’t these audiences see the good Telugu movies?’ asks Tammareddy. He further elaborated that these days many audiences are watching films not for the sake of entertainment but only to dissect them with their reviews. ‘Go and enjoy films but why should you dissect the work of each and every technician like a critic’ he advises.
Whether Annapurna Sunkara or anyone, Tammareddy requested film lovers to watch movies for the sake of entertainment rather beating them black and blue with criticism. ‘Many good Telugu films are coming in these days. For example people started using bicycles after seeing Mahesh riding one in Srimanthudu. That’s good happening. Pollution is lessened and it’s health for people’, he concluded.
