Veteran film producer Narayan Das Narang on Tuesday passed away while undergoing treatment at Star Hospital in Hyderabad. He was 78.
As per reports, the head of Asian Films was suffering from health issues for a few months. The entire Telugu film industry has expressed grief over the death of Narayan Das Narang. His body will be shifted from the hospital to his residence in Film Nagar at noon. Celebrities will reach there and pay homage to his body. His family members said the funeral will take place in Mahaprastanam, Jubilee Hills, at 4 pm today.
For the unversed, Narayan Das Narang is one of the very few legends who are present in the movie industry since the Chennai days. He bankrolled many movies of renowned actors NTR and ANR in those days.
The late producer’s next movies which are currently under production are Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Ghost and a trilingual film in the combination of Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula.
