Despite production delays, the buzz surrounding Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming films Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM) and OG remains strong. While there is clarity on the current status of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, the team behind OG is awaiting the actor’s availability to resume the shoot.
In the midst of this, composer S. Thaman has stirred excitement with an update on OG’s first single. Titled ‘Firestorm’, the track is reportedly complete and ready for release. The song has been crooned by Tamil star Silambarasan TR (Simbu), and Thaman has expressed confidence in its impact. However, he affirmed that the song will only be released once the film’s shoot recommences, a strategic move aimed at maximizing momentum when production resumes.
The teaser of OG, which briefly featured a glimpse of this track, had already created a significant sensation upon its release, contributing to the mounting anticipation.
Most of the film’s principal photography is already complete. The production team is now awaiting Pawan Kalyan’s dates to schedule the final leg of the shoot. Similarly, the team of Hari Hara Veera Mallu also requires a few more days of filming with the actor to bring their project to completion.
Currently, Pawan Kalyan is extensively engaged with political responsibilities and personal commitments, which have understandably caused delays in both projects. While there is public curiosity about whether releasing the song now could help maintain the film’s visibility, the creators believe that holding it back will have a stronger impact once filming resumes. Thaman emphasized that the song’s release will be timed to add renewed buzz at the right moment.
Directed by Sujeeth, OG stars Priyanka Arul Mohan opposite Pawan Kalyan and features an ensemble cast including Emraan Hashmi, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, Prakash Raj, Harish Uthaman, and Shaam.
