Flop Film Behind Agnathavasi Story?

Inspiring from Hollywood films is not a new thing when it comes to wizard-of-words Trivikram. Most of his films, however, has scenes lifted from foreign films including that of train jump scene in Athadu, bank robbery in Julayi and Brahmi’s leaves falling episode in Attarintiki Daredi.

Unlike picking scenes, we now hear that Trivikram this time took story line of his latest film, #PSPK25 which is titled Agnathavasi, from a foreign movie. Reports say that Trivikram took the skeletal storyline of “Largo Winch” movies, Part 1 and 2, along with some scenes. It is being largely speculated that this French film has impressed Trivikram quite a lot that he nativised into a Telugu story.

Largo Winch is a French film series based on Belgian comic novels of the same name. It deals with the story of wealthy businessman’s son Largo who is brought up secretly at a faraway country for decades and then comes to save the empire of his father, who was just shot dead by some enemies. The twists, romance, action scenes in these two films are amazing, but surprisingly, the films haven’t done well at box office.

Insiders say, ‘Trivkram took the story of that flop flick, underlined the loopholes, corrected them, added his philosophical and magical dialogue touch and suited it well to Pawan’s persona and onscreen charisma’. They added that the film will have 50% original scenes that will just add mesmeric colour to the original story. Featuring Pawan Kalyan, Keerthi Suresh and Anu Emmanuel in the leads, Agnathavasi hits cinemas on January 10, 2018.
