Pooja became the heartthrob of Telugu film lovers with ‘Mukunda’ and ‘Oka Laila Kosam’. Despite both the films failed, her charismatic beauty was noticed and she was considered for a couple of biggies. Fate however had other plans for her. As she was selected to romance Hrithik Roshan in ‘Mohenjo Daro’. Pooja said adieu to a flourishing career in Tollywood in the hope of Bollywood glory.
Post the disastrous result of Mohenjo Daro, Pooja however had to come back to Tollywood. Luckily, she was offered yet another crazy project, Bunny’s DJ to make a perfect comeback. Her sensational sex appeal in the film’s teaser prompted several Telugu filmmakers to consider her for Telugu biggies. However, it seems that Pooja may once again leave Tollywood as this time she has received a call from a towering filmmaker named Karan Johar.
Reportedly, Pooja has recently flown to Mumbai and gave a screen test for Johar’s ‘Student of the Year 2’. If she gets finalized, her carer will surely beam in bollywood as happened in the case of any of the actors worked with Johar. Will Pooja once again risk a potential career in Tollywood? Or will she take a leaf out of Shruti Haasan’s book and balance both Telugu and Hindi films? Only time will tell.
