Telangana government claims it is super IT savvy and has several awards to its credit. But, in what could be a perfect example of the IT wing’s performance, Etela Rajender still continues to be the health minister of Telangana even a month after he was sacked. Not just one website, but five websites show him as the health minister of Telangana state.
Not just that. The website also shows the latest address of the health ministry as the same building that was demolished last year. The website also shows the name of the health secretary as Shantha Kumari. Shantha Kumari left the ministry long time ago and is holding another key post in the forest department now. Even this has not been updated so far.
Etela is still shown as the medical and health minister in Telangana government on the websites of the Directorate of Medical Education, Department of Ayush, Telangna Vaidya Vidhana Parishad, Telangana Drug Control Department, Telangana Aids Control Society, directorate of public welfare and health and other websites. For a government that prides itself for his tech savvy administration and speedy redressal mechanisms, this laxity is inexplicable.
