Forbes 30 under 30 lists down the young and successful entrepreneurs in Asia 2020, and this too had 3500 nominations and the team researched a lot to bring it down to 300 and further to 30. It is definitely a proud moment for Hyderabad and there are four entrepreneurs from the city on that list.
Telangana IT Minister tweeted the same, congratulating the 4 young Hyderabadis who have featured in 30 Under 30 Asia 2020. The four achievers are Prem Kumar of Marut Drone, Ashwin Mocherla of the Thick Shake Factory, Sandeep Bommi of AdonoMo and Vihari of Urban Kisaan.
Prem Kumar Vislawath, Suraj Peddu, and Sai Kumar Chinthala cofounded Marut Drones, the first time technology in India to eradicate mosquito larvae and water hyacinths on lakes. Marut Drones has already covered more than 4230 hectares if lakes in Hyderabad city.
Sandeep Bommireddi is the cofounder of Adonmo, as an ad-tech startup that manages ads through digital screens on top of taxis displaying the ads based on location and time of the taxi.
Ashwin Mocherla founded the Tickshake Factory, a retailer in making milkshakes. It was launched in 2013 and has served more than 7 million customers with 125 outlets in the country.
Vihari Kanukollu cofounded Urban Kissan that builds vertical farms indoor and pesticide-free produce. The plants grown there use the vertical hydroponic environment without soil. Urban Kisaan could produce 95 percent less water and gives 30 times more yield compared to conventional farming.
