Trivikram Srinivas has once again become the center of attention in the Telugu film industry, thanks to his much-discussed upcoming mythological film. Initially, the project was widely believed to feature Icon Star Allu Arjun. However, in an unexpected turn of events, it now appears that Jr. NTR has taken over the lead role. This sudden change has sparked significant buzz and curiosity across film circles and social media.

The film, which revolves around Lord Subrahmanya Swamy, was originally planned as a collaboration between Allu Arjun and Trivikram, with Sithara Entertainments backing the project. Producer Naga Vamshi had earlier amplified the excitement, claiming that Trivikram was exploring a mythological aspect never before touched in Telugu cinema.

At first, everything seemed on track. The project was expected to go on floors once Allu Arjun completed his work on Pushpa 2. However, Allu Arjun surprised many by choosing to prioritize his next project with director Atlee, which inadvertently pushed Trivikram’s film to the back burner. Even then, industry insiders speculated that Trivikram might fill the gap by directing Venkatesh in the interim.

Soon after, rumors began circulating about Trivikram also being in talks with Ram Charan. While Ram Charan is already committed to a film with Sukumar, reports suggested that if Sukumar’s project faced delays, Trivikram might step in for a temporary collaboration. Despite these developments, many still believed that Trivikram’s ambitious mythological film would eventually feature Allu Arjun.

Then came the twist that no one anticipated. News broke out that Jr. NTR had now come on board for the same mythological film initially meant for Allu Arjun. Though the exact reasons behind this major reshuffle remain unclear, multiple theories have surfaced. Some fans believe that NTR was always a strong contender for this project but was kept under wraps until now. Interestingly, Trivikram had earlier announced a film with NTR in 2020 under the title #NTR30, which was later shelved. Many now speculate that the shelved project could have been this same mythological venture, revived after all these years.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s fans are understandably disappointed. After multiple interviews where producer Naga Vamsi hyped the film’s scale and uniqueness, expectations were sky-high. With Trivikram venturing into unexplored mythological territory, the project held immense promise, making its sudden cast switch all the more surprising.

Adding to the intrigue, Bunny Vas, a close associate of Allu Arjun, recently stated in an interview that they were waiting for Allu Arjun and Trivikram to give the green signal to start the project. But within days, the situation shifted dramatically.

On NTR’s front, his immediate focus remains on completing his upcoming film with director Nelson Kumar, also under Sithara Entertainments. Once that wraps up, he is expected to commence work on this highly anticipated mythological drama with Trivikram. Additionally, NTR has Devara 2 and the ambitious Dadasaheb Phalke biopic lined up, making his schedule even more packed.

With so many unexpected twists and turns, Trivikram’s mythological film has become one of the most talked-about projects in Tollywood, and fans eagerly await further official announcements.
