In two decades of his political career, former AP minister and Vishakhapatnam North MLA Ganta Srinivas Rao has never tasted a defeat. The industrialist turned politician started off his political stint with TDP in 1999 and successfully won from Anakapalle Lok Sabha segment.
But, he has been media’s interest only after joining Praja Rajyam. Mr. Rao also received a cabinet post after Chiranjeevi merged PRP in Congress.
Later, he moved to TDP and got elected as MLA for two succesful times – but from two different assembly segments (Bheemili & Vizag North). During his stint as minister in TDP government, Jana Sena chief and Megastar’s brother Pawan Kalyan had lashed out at Mr. Rao about sand mafia in state. Also, Pawan Kalyan gave out an indication that JSP will never open its door for opportunists like Ganta.
Surprisingly, Ganta has once again appeared with his dear friend and former political boss, Chiranjeevi. It is known that both of them still maintain a great equation and they also attend some film events together.
Despite his political rift with Pawan Kalyan, Ganta continues to maintain good rapport with Megastar and they travelled in a private jet from Hyderabad to Tadepalligudem to unveil senior actor S V Ranga Rao’s bronze statue. A picture of them is now going viral on social media.
Posting a capture of them, Ganta said “It’s my pleasure to spend some quality time with the ever-charming #Chirajneevi Garu.”
