Ganta Srinivas Rao is a highly influential political, whose analysis on the current trends in politics is always on point. The only time he was ever wrong was in 2019, when he misjudged the YSRCP’s calibre. After losing the 2019 elections, Ganta has been maintaining a low profile and has quit active politics. However, the remarks that he makes every now and then, about politics, always leaves everyone thinking of his potential reentry.
While sources have said that Ganta is planning his reentry, and said that it would happen, Ganta has never directly hinted at such a thing. As a result, his political re-entry continues to be a mystery for everyone. The recent comments that Ganta made, especially with respect to the Kapu community, has now gotten everyone talking again. He recently participated in the unveiling of Kapu icon Vangaveeti Ranga’s statue in the Guntapalli village of Payakaraopet Mandal. He said that the Kapu community would soon become the rulers and would play a decisive role in shaping AP’s politics. He even called upon the Kapus to unite and play a key role in AP politics. Soon after this, he held a key meeting of Kapu influencers from across the two Telugu states in Hyderabad. The meeting discussed how the Kapus can claim their rightful share of power.
As a result, it is being expected that Ganta is aiming at uniting the Kapu community and mobilising them. While Ganta hasn’t made anything clear yet, it is being expected that he would become politically active in 2022 again.
