Director Suni, known for his memorable romantic entertainers in Kannada cinema, is back with an ambitious project, Gatha Vaibhavam, starring SS Dushyanth and Ashika Ranganath. The film is set to release in Telugu, under PrimeShow Entertainment.
The trailer, unveiled today, is visually stunning and intriguing. It introduces Ashika Ranganath as an apsara confronted by a demon king, portrayed by Dushyanth. The story then shifts to a thrilling sea voyage under pirate attack and later to a 1960s-era romance in India.
The film uniquely blends fantasy elements from Devaloka, adventurous sea sequences, and a vintage romantic timeline, sprinkled with humor. Modern-day sequences further hint at the storyline, highlighting the star-crossed lovers’ journey across different eras, destined yet doomed.
Suni’s vision, high production values, varied looks, and meticulous production design elevate the narrative, generating curiosity among audiences. Produced by Deepak Thimmappa and Suni, Gatha Vaibhavam is slated for release on 14th November and is poised to make a strong impact.
