The longstanding controversy surrounding the reality show Paadutha Teeyaga has taken a dramatic new twist. Singer Pravasti had earlier sparked widespread debate with serious allegations against the show’s judges — M.M. Keeravani, Chandrabose, and Sunitha — with particularly sharp criticism directed at Sunitha and Keeravani. Pravasti’s remarks polarized public opinion, with some supporting her claims while others, including singers Lipsika and Harika Narayan, defended Keeravani.
Recently, the controversy intensified with director Geetha Krishna — known for his provocative statements — making new and serious allegations. In a sensational claim, he accused Keeravani of inappropriate behavior involving schoolgirls, demanding that a POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case be filed against him. Geetha Krishna alleged that Keeravani had significant knowledge of these incidents, further fueling the controversy.
Reacting to the explosive accusations, veteran music director Koti expressed deep disappointment.
“Whether something wrong happened on Paadutha Teeyaga or not, let the parties involved and the media handle it. But personally attacking Keeravani like this — please think about how correct that is. Minor mistakes happen in any program, but creating such a big scene is truly saddening,” Koti said.
Koti further emphasized that both Keeravani and Sunitha achieved their stature through hard work and dedication. He stated that hearing such allegations against respected artists evokes both fear and sadness, and he urged Geetha Krishna to refrain from making personal attacks.
With the emerging Geetha Krishna–Koti conflict, the Paadutha Teeyaga controversy has entered yet another turbulent phase. Reports also suggest that S.S. Rajamouli’s family is considering initiating legal action against Geetha Krishna in response to these serious allegations.
