Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Geetha Govindham’ which came in 2018 was a blockbuster success. This feel-good love story directed by Parasuram was made on a minimum budget and collected 130 crores at the box office. After a few years gap, director Parasuram and Vijay Deverakonda are teaming up again and the project was officially announced a few days back.
As we know, Dil Raju and Sirish are the producers while Vasu Varma is the creative producer of the film. Tentatively titled ‘VD13’, this project has been launched grandly in Hyderabad today. It was attended by some bigwigs of the industry. Producer Shyam Prasad Reddy was given the clap, while Govardhan Rao Deverakonda directed the first shot, and popular financier Satti Rangaiah switched on the camera. The movie will go on the floors soon.
Mrunal Thakur, who was introduced to the Telugu audience with the movie ‘Sita Ramam’ and is currently working on #Nani30 is going to be the heroine in this flick. Vijay Deverakonda has joined hands with producers Dil Raju and Shirish for the first time through this film. This is the 54th film under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
KU Mohanan is the director of photography while Gopi Sundar who gave a blockbuster album for ‘Geetha Govindam’ is giving the music for this flick too. AS Prakash is the art director while Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor. Let us see who the cast of this film is going to be apart from Vijay and Mrunal Thakur.
