Anushka Shetty–Krish’s ‘Ghaati’ Release Postponed; Makers Cite VFX and Post-Production Enhancements
The much-anticipated project Ghaati, featuring Anushka Shetty in the lead and directed by visionary filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi, was initially slated for a July 11th release. However, the film’s release has officially been postponed, as announced by the makers.
The delay stems from the extensive post-production work still underway, particularly the high-end VFX elements that are central to the film’s cinematic experience. The team is focused on delivering a technically superior product, and the additional time will be used to ensure that every frame meets the highest standards.
In an official statement, director Krish shared his perspective on the delay:
“Ghaati is not just a film; it’s a mountain echo, a wild breeze, a story carved from stone and soil. To honour every frame, every breath, we have chosen to hold its flight a little longer in our embrace. We believe this wait will make the experience richer, more intense, more unforgettable. Thank you for your love, your patience, and for walking these winding trails with us.”
The film has already generated significant buzz with the release of two captivating glimpses that introduced lead actors Anushka Shetty and Vikram Prabhu. The first single from the soundtrack also garnered an overwhelming response, becoming a chartbuster upon release.
Produced on a grand scale by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi under the First Frame Entertainments banner, and presented by UV Creations, Ghaati promises a visually immersive and emotionally compelling narrative.
The makers plan to launch a fresh wave of promotions once post-production is complete. A new release date will be announced soon.
