The long-anticipated collaboration between Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel has been a project in the making for quite some time. Initially announced in May 2022, the film took a while to move forward and was officially launched only in August 2024.

The shooting finally began in February 2025, generating huge excitement among fans. However, the project has experienced multiple delays since then, leading to the makers locking a new release date of June 11, 2027. This marks a gap of over five years from announcement to release—an unusually long timeline even for a large-scale film.
On the brighter side, fans now have something to look forward to. The team has confirmed that a glimpse or teaser will be released on May 20, coinciding with Jr NTR’s birthday. This teaser is expected to offer the first insight into the film’s world, tone, and scale.

Adding further intrigue, there is speculation that the film might be planned as a two-part project, with both parts potentially being shot simultaneously. If executed well, this strategy could work in its favor, especially if the releases are spaced closely to maintain momentum.

Despite the delays, the combination of Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel, along with the film’s scale and ambition, continues to hold massive promise. The extended production timeline could ultimately result in a more polished and impactful cinematic experience.

The film stars Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead and also features a prominent Hindi actor in a key role. It is being jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, with presentation by T-Series.
