Google has officially released the first teaser for its upcoming Pixel 11 series, offering an early look at the smartphones ahead of their global launch on August 12, 2026. The teaser showcases what appears to be the Pixel 11 Pro in a new gold finish, while also confirming the launch date through a dedicated Google Store landing page that reads, “The next generation. Google Pixel 11. August 12.”
One of the biggest highlights from the teaser is the introduction of a new hardware feature known as Pixel Glow. The feature appears as a circular illuminated ring positioned beside the rear camera bar, replacing the conventional LED flash. While Google has not revealed its functionality, reports suggest it could serve as a smarter notification system or provide enhanced camera lighting.
Google has also teased significant AI enhancements for the upcoming lineup under the branding Gemini Intelligence. In its official “Made by Google” event invitation, the company confirmed that the presentation will focus on both its next-generation Pixel devices and new AI-powered features driven by Gemini.
Following the launch event on August 12, Google will begin accepting pre-orders for the Pixel 11 series. Customers in the United States can also take advantage of a promotional offer by signing up for Google Store marketing emails with a registered Google account before August 7. Eligible users will receive a promotional code that can be applied when purchasing an unlocked Pixel 11 device or a Google Fi variant.
According to reports, the Pixel 11 lineup will include four models: Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The smartphones are expected to be powered by Google’s next-generation Tensor G6 chipset, manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 2nm process, and paired with a MediaTek M90 5G modem for improved connectivity and efficiency.
Another notable upgrade could be the removal of the 128GB storage option. Reports indicate that Google may standardize 256GB as the base storage across the entire Pixel 11 lineup, offering users more storage capacity out of the box.
With a refreshed design, new AI capabilities, upgraded hardware, and improved storage options, the Pixel 11 series is shaping up to be one of Google’s biggest smartphone launches in recent years.
