Google has announced a major set of AI-powered upgrades across its ecosystem, including the Gemini app, AI Mode in Search, and Circle to Search. These updates aim to make shopping and search experiences more conversational, visual, and personalized.
A key highlight of the announcement is the integration of Google’s Gemini AI models with its massive Shopping Graph, which contains around 50 billion product listings and is updated with nearly 2 billion products every hour. This combination is designed to deliver faster, more accurate, and real-time shopping insights.
Shopping in the Gemini App
The updated Gemini app now allows users to explore products in a more interactive way. Users can brainstorm outfit ideas, create gift lists, and browse items within a single chat interface. The AI can also show product listings, comparisons, prices from across the web, and even assist in making purchases. This shopping experience is powered by the Shopping Graph and will be available in both English and Hindi.
Conversational Shopping in AI Mode
Google is also rolling out a major upgrade to shopping inside AI Mode in Search in India. When users ask shopping-related queries, AI Mode will generate an “intelligently organised response” that combines images, prices, reviews, and live inventory data in one place. This feature will also support English and Hindi languages.
Circle to Search Gets Smarter
The Circle to Search feature is also receiving advanced upgrades, especially for devices like the Pixel 10 and Samsung Galaxy S26 series. Users can now search multiple objects within a single image at once.
For example, if someone likes an outfit on social media, they can circle or highlight the entire look to find matching items—from clothing to footwear—in one go. Google says this will help users “deconstruct” any visual style and easily recreate it.
With these upgrades, Google is pushing its AI ecosystem toward a more intuitive and visually rich search and shopping experience.
