
The trailer for Gopi Galla Goa Trip, an energetic coming-of-age Telugu film, has been released and is already generating buzz for its youthful vibe and Hollywood-style visuals. Produced by Sai Kumar, Seeta Ramaraju, and Ramana Reddy under Raasta Films, Aurelis Arts, Awwal Number Productions, and Avanti Cinema, the film is directed by Rohit and Sasi. It features Ajith Mohan, Raju Shivaratri, Camp Sasi, Sai Kumar, Pawon Ramesh, and Monika Busam in pivotal roles.
The story follows two close friends, both named Gopi, who leave their small village for a dream trip to Goa. Their journey is filled with unexpected adventures, surprises, and life-changing experiences, which form the heart of the film. The trailer stands out for its engaging writing, high production values, and youthful energy, offering a wild, entertaining ride with a contemporary, Hollywood-inspired feel that resonates with today’s young audience.
The trailer launch event, held on Tuesday, was attended by celebrated directors Sai Rajesh, Venkatesh Maha, and Rupak as chief guests. Sai Rajesh praised the filmmakers, saying,
“Rohit and Sasi are very talented. Their filmmaking style really amazed me. I’ll always support them, and I hope the media stands behind such new-age films. Soon, their names will be widely recognized.”
Venkatesh Maha added,
“I’ve known Rohit and Sasi for many years, first meeting them in Goa during the C/O Kancharapalem film festival. Their earlier short films like Shesh Mahal, Nirudyoga Natulu, and Double Engine were impressive. Watching this trailer gave me an international cinema feel.”
Other industry figures, including Jagadeesh Bhandari, expressed support for the young filmmakers, while director Rohit described the film as a “crazy and magical hangout story.” Producer Sai Kumar emphasized that the film offers Telugu audiences a fresh experience, saying,
“It feels like taking a trip to Goa while watching the movie.”
Director Sasi, reflecting on their journey, stated,
“This is our third film together. We’ve made several short films before and continue learning the craft. Inspired by films like Hrudaya Kaleyam and C/O Kancharapalem, we created this road trip film with passion and no compromises. I urge the media and audience to support small films like ours.”
Director Rupak and music director Ravi also praised the project, noting its simplicity, creativity, and on-set music production that complements the visuals and story.
