The makers of Gopichand and Tamannaah Batia’s upcoming film, Seetimaarr, have announced that the film will release in theatres on September 3rd. The film was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on April 2. However; it was postponed due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
On Tuesday, August 24, the makers revealed that the film will hit the screens on September 3. Directed by Sampath Nandi, the film will see Gopichand playing a coach of the female Kabaddi team for Andhra Pradesh while Tamannaah essay the role of Kabaddi coach Jwala Reddy.
Sharing a massy poster, the makers wrote, “Mark the date and lock it! We are loading on Sept 3rd, only in theatres.”
Touted to be a sports drama, Seetimaarr also stars Digangana Suryavanshi and Bhumika Chawla in pivotal roles. The film’s music is composed by Mani Sharma. Bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chhitturi, this is the second time Gopichand and director Sampath Nandi will be collaborating after Goutham Nanda.
